Dr. Torok has held numerous positions in the pharmaceutical development industry including COO of ADial Pharmaceuticals, CSO of Global Cell Solutions, Global Project Manager at PRA International, and currently sits on the board of other 3 other biotechnology and bio-investment companies.   

Dr. Torok ’s work as CSO of Global Cell Solutions focused on automating tissue culture technologies which led to national conference awards, patents, and an award at the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business, Business Plan competition.  As a Global Project Manager at PRA International, Dr. Torok has received numerous accolades for his management of operations and finance for multiple large phase II-IV clinical studies.  His expertise in the clinical research arena includes study design, site and subject recruitment, ICH-GCP, and multiple therapeutic indications.   In addition, Dr. Torok has also held positions at the University of Virginia Patent Foundation and Spinner Technologies.

Dr. Torok received his Masters degree in Biological and Physical Sciences, and his Doctorate in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics, both from the University of Virginia, School of Medicine.
