Erik Urnes is currently the CEO of AB Wilh. Becker, a privately held company that is one of the world’s leading players in well-defined coatings, industrial finishes and artist materials. He is the Chairman of the Board of Becker Industrial Coatings AB and ColArt International Holdings Ltd and is a non-executive director of Lindéngruppen AB and Höganäs AB.

Prior to his current role, he was CEO of ColArt International Holdings Ltd. Erik has significant experience from early and late stage investing from his roles as Principal at Reuters Greenhouse Fund (technology venture capital) and Browallia International (leveraged buy-out and financial restructuring). He started his career as a consultant at Bain & Company in London.

Erik holds a BEng (1st Class Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of London and an MBA (Dean’s List) from INSEAD, France.
